End the Dark Store Loophole.
The "Dark Store" loophole assesses property tax for stores that are open and generating profits the same as for stores that are closed, thereby affording them a lower rate. Homeowners have to make up that difference, and therefore pay more taxes.
In the Fall 2018 election, voters resoundingly expressed the opinion that they want the "Dark Store" loophole closed, but action has yet to be taken. As your Assemblywoman, I will champion and vote to eliminate this loophole.
